Starting the epic 1920’s Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt. Well, I’ve done part of it before but I’m going to try to complete the entire 111 blocks of this masterpiece. I’ve purchased lots of fat quarters in what I call sea glass colours. Mainly greens, blues, creams and white. So this quilt will not be a scrappy quilt it will be quite intentional in the colours.i want to create a colour story. I will also be using foundation paper piecing of FPP as the method for putting the quilt together. This is a more contemporary method but not without its challenges. Even though I love paper piecing , I need a bit of a break from this whilst I continue working on my hand picked double wedding ring quilt which is still in progress.  Here we go……wish me luck. XXx
